A short drive from Combermere, in the heart of Nantwich, you’ll find somewhere that feels both new and deeply rooted in its surroundings.

Edwards is a wine and coffee bar shaped by story, community, and a sense of returning home. When Sarah visited, she met Kelly, who shared her journey back from Melbourne to open @stmartharestaurant in 2019, now a much-loved Greek restaurant in the town.

In January 2025, @edwards.deli.and.wine followed. Named after Kelly’s grandad, it carries forward the heritage of the former wine bar that once stood in its place, while creating something new. A space to gather, celebrate, and feel part of the community.

Welcomed quickly by locals, it has become just that. A place for morning coffee, evening wine, and everything in between.

If you’re staying at Combermere, both St Martha’s and Edwards are well worth a visit.
