The Estate

The Estate remains in private hands, and is now home to a number of enterprises, all contributing to its current and future wellbeing.  The land at Combermere is ancient and full of trees and rolling hills.  Circling a substantial mere, created at the time of the iceage, it is home to wonderful wildlife and birdlife.  The land is farmed sustainably and is predominantly organic.  Visitors staying in our 5* holiday cottages and weddings accommodation may enjoy the signed walk, and on our annual bluebell open day at the end of April or early May, the general public can enjoy its beauty on a 2 mile signed walk.
