DISCOVER SOMEWHERE SPECIAL...

Combermere Abbey and its estate is a working, living entity in constant motion and change.  We are delighted to welcome groups and individuals who are interested in finding out more about the history and architectural timeline of the place.  Its special and hidden location make a visit a very special one and all visits are guided to ensure that you find out all the wonderful things we have discovered about its history...

We are not perfect and we enjoy meeting and engaging with people who bring specialist knowledge and information - giving us further insight into the great history of this place.

ONGOING RESTORATION WORKS: At the moment we are undertaking extensive restoration in the Abbey in the Library and therefore unfortunately cannot book any tours of the Abbey itself.  The work is very exciting and has exposed some amazing early fabric of the building and you will be able to follow the progress on a dedicated page in the Abbey section of the website which is being designed at the moment. 

NEW EXPANDED GARDEN TOURS: However, we are introducing an exciting and expanded Garden Tour.  Guided by head gardener Patrick Driscall, who will lead you on a historic journey through the known history of the gardens at Combermere.  For more information please check on the TOURS page in this section.
