A Blooming Marvellous Event for Gardeners - ‘Flower Power' - Sunday 27th May
On Sunday, 27th May, Combermere Abbey Estate is adding a new event to their calendar which will
appeal to all green-fingered folk. ‘Flower Power' is a plant fair of
distinction, exhibiting and selling a wide range of specialist plants.
The fair
will feature numerous RHS and other award-winning plant specialists and
nurseries from near and far, in the inspiring surroundings of the Abbey. The
plants on sale will be priced realistically and include some varieties that are
not readily available at more commercial retailers. There is also the added
bonus of having expert plants men and women on hand to answer queries and
advise you how best to tend your new purchases.
Entry to the
sale is £4 (under 16's are free) and includes entry to the Abbey's walled
garden which features the world's only fruit tree maze, and a magnificently
restored Glasshouse. Refreshments will
be on sale in the Glasshouse and parking at the fair is complimentary.
Flower Power
Fairs are in their 5th year and are the result of Judy Popler's
life-long passion for plants and gardens. Sixteen fairs are to be held this
season at a variety of locations in the North of England, which are all beautiful,
inspiring settings. www.flowerpowerfairs.co.uk
