Winter Wedding Open Day June 28th

Combermere Abbey invites brides and grooms-to-be to a personal viewing of a unique ceremonial room for Winter Weddings on June 28th 2015. Newly-restored and exclusively for ceremonies during the months of January and February only, ‘The Library' is a magnificently ornate and historically important room, located on the first floor of the Abbey.

Plant a piece of British History to Celebrate the Bi-Centennial of Waterloo

Combermere Abbey Estate will host a series of Open Garden Afternoon events this summer; a rare chance to enter the gates of this privately-owned historic estate and explore its horticultural splendour. In celebration of the Bi-Centennial of The Battle of Waterloo this June, and the estate's link with the Duke of Wellington, there will also be the unique opportunity to purchase an commemorative oak sapling, cultivated from a hearty oak, originally planted by the Duke on his visit to Combermere in 1820.

Bluebells Galore at The Abbey - April 26th

On Sunday 26th April, Combermere Abbey Estate is hosting its annual two-mile Bluebell Walk Event, a fun day out for the whole family. 

Visitors will enjoy the rare opportunity to visit the beautiful location of the C12th Combermere Abbey, once again including access to The Pleasure Garden and The Garden Wood, leading down to the lake. Stroll through these beautiful grounds, delighting the senses with swathes of fragrant, blue native bluebells as you go. 

Wedding Open Day at the North West's most Romantic Wedding Venue

On Sunday 19th April, Combermere Abbey, the region's most romantic, historic property will be hosting a complimentary Wedding Open Day. The event held from 11am until 4pm, will introduce prospective bridal couples to this exclusive venue.

At the event Brides and grooms-to-be will also have an insight to some exciting developments which will be available from January 2016, adding even more allure and enchantment to this unique venue.
