Bluebells Galore at The Abbey

On Sunday, 15th April, Combermere Abbey Estate is hosting its annual two mile Bluebell Walk Event, a fun day out for the whole family. The event gives visitors the rare opportunity to visit the beautiful location of the C12th Combermere Abbey. Walk through dappled woodlands, beside the picturesque lake, enjoying the sensory delights of carpets of these fragrant blue native flowers.

Combermere Abbey at The Wedding Show Tatton Park

The 10th annual Wedding Show takes place on January 28th - 29th. Combermere Abbey will exhibit for the first time at this prestigious event, which takes place in a luxury marquee within the grounds of Tatton Park.

Combermere Abbey cottages have been recognised as ‘Highly Commended’ by Hudson’s Heritage Guides in their “Best Accommodation” category for 2011. 

Sarah Callander Beckett, Combermere Abbey’s owner, was thrilled to receive this accolade at celebratory Awards Luncheon at the Hyatt Grosvenor Square in London on 1st December, where the awards were presented by Lucinda Lambton and Lloyd Grossman. She exclaimed:

 “We are truly delighted, these awards are particularly close to our hearts as they represent the crème de la crème of the nation’s heritage, to us they’re rather like the Oscars!
