From time to time, whatever your line of business, you will want to get a group of people together - maybe staff, clients, or prospective clients and guests. And sometimes you will want to make that occasion just a little bit special ... well, forget ‘a little bit special', any meeting at Combermere Abbey is very special indeed. And really not that expensive!

It might be a retirement celebration, an important sales presentation, corporate entertainment, a formal dinner-dance, or just a gathering which you know would work better outside the familiar and mundane office environment. It can be during the day or in the evening - anything from a breakfast briefing to a black tie event which goes on into the early hours. We can provide food and drink at whatever level you feel is appropriate, and to your budget; from sandwiches and hot drinks right up to a full banquet.

As for the venue itself, you have a choice between our lovely modern pavilion or the historic and beautifully restored Glasshouse - both of which are reached through the walled garden with its unique fruit tree maze. We have masses of parking just outside the garden, and there's plenty of space to unload equipment or products. And if guests are coming under their own steam, the Abbey is easily found as the main gates are right on an A-road, and Crewe, Nantwich and Wrenbury railway stations are all a short drive away.

There are luxurious, award-winning self-catering cottages close to where events are held, so if you have special guests for whom you need overnight accommodation just leave it too us - and although it is self-catering we can provide food and drink at a very high standard. We'll make sure that your guests have a terrific time. When they are relaxing they will be free to wander through the Abbey's woodland and along the lake; foreign guests especially couldn't fail to be delighted by the quintessentially English countryside they will find at Combermere.
