Tatton Park lies to the north-east of Cheshire, close to the historic town of Knutsford, and for four hundred years it was the seat of the Egerton family. The entire estate - comprising the glorious Classical mansion, the Seventeenth century Old Hall, the rare breed farm, fifty acres of gardens and the thousand acres of parkland - are now open to the public. Also, around a hundred events are held there every year - from the Royal Horticultural Society's northern flower and garden show to antiques fairs, and from summer concerts to classic car festivals.

For the last ten years there has also been a highly successful Wedding Show every January, and this year's show is right at the end of the month, on the 28th and 29th. Combermere Abbey is going to be there - on stand 307 - telling everyone what a beautiful and unique place the Abbey is, and why it is absolutely perfect for your wedding and reception. There's a new romantic novel out by top-selling authoress Miranda Dickinson, which is set at Combermere - and you can enter a free draw to win a signed first edition.

We've now hosted more than a hundred weddings at the Abbey, and can provide as much or as little as you require for the big day. If you want to sit back and have our very experienced to staff arrange everything, from place settings to photography, then that's our pleasure.

There will be more than a hundred and fifty wedding specialists at the Tatton Park show, and if you go along do come and see us. If you can't get to Tatton but want to know more about weddings and receptions at Combermere Abbey click here.
