Here's a first for the Combermere Abbey website; we've added moving images and sound. Go to the Weddings page - by clicking here - and click on the arrow in the big black screen, and you'll find a lovely sequence of a summer wedding at the Abbey. It gives you just a hint of the delightful atmosphere of a wedding ceremony and reception at this historic country house; romantic, delightful and tranquil (no roar of traffic noise drowning out the best man's speech; no need for granny to turn her hearing aid up because of aircraft noise).

There is still availability for spring and summer weddings and receptions at Combermere, and our highly experienced team will de delighted to do absolutely everything to guarantee a glorious and unforgettable day. There's no aspect of the big day that we can't handle - except perhaps the quality of the best man's jokes. 

We hope to have more video on the site in the near future; gorgeous brides in stunning frocks, handsome but slightly nervous-looking grooms, proud-as-punch mums and dads, groaning tables laden with food and drink to make your mouth water . . . oh yes, and close-ups of expressions of great delight on the face of the bride's father when he sees the spcial offers we've got for 2012.
