FROM THE M6
Leave the motorway at Junction 16, and at the roundabout follow signs for A500 Nantwich/Crewe. You are now traveling on the A500 which takes you directly into Nantwich approx. 8 miles. After the first roundabout the A500 becomes a dual carriageway for approx. 6 miles. At the end of the dual carriageway you will come to a roundabout – take the Nantwich A51 exit. At the first traffic lights, turn left following signs for Whitchurch (A530/A525). Continue through 2 sets of traffic lights. At the third traffic light (T junction), turn right and second left following signs for Whitchurch (A530/A525).
* Follow this road around a sharp left bend, passing Nantwich Lake on the right. You are now approx. six miles from Combermere Abbey. You will pass through the villages of Sound and Aston and, after a further 900m, the Primebake factory on the left. Approximately half a mile further along, you’ll pass Park View Business Centre on the right.
At this point you are now half a mile from the entrance to Combermere which is on your right. When you see the road sign on the left to Burleydam, Audlem and Woore, signal right and turn into the main drive.
FROM CHESTER
Follow the A51 signed towards Nantwich. At Burford crossroads, carry straight on through the traffic lights and the village of Acton, eventually reaching traffic lights underneath the viaduct. Turn left and follow the bypass straight through three more sets of traffic lights and up to the roundabout, where you take the third exit, past Nantwich Railway station and over the level crossing. Take the second turning on the right following the signs for Whitchurch (A530/A525).
Pick up the directions from the second paragraph of the M6 *above. Alternatively follow the A41 into Whitchurch and then follow directions From The Midlands/Southwest at the point **below.
FROM MANCHESTER AIRPORT
Join the M56, leave at Junction 7 joining A556 going south (towards Northwich), Join M6 at Junction 19, leave at Junction 16, thereafter follow instructions given for the M6.
FROM THE SOUTH, SOUTH EAST, AND EAST OF ENGLAND
Use M1, M6 or M40, M42N and join the M6 TOLL.
If you are approaching the M6 toll from the south, you can join at either junction 7A of the M42 or junction 4 of the M6. Also applies using the A14, M6. The toll road rejoins the M6 at junction 12A. Exit the motorway at Junction 16 following signs for Nantwich. On reaching Nantwich follow the A530/A525 for Whitchurch. Follow directions as in M6 above.
FROM THE MIDLANDS/SOUTHWEST
Using M5/ M6, exit at junction 10A onto the M54, leaving the M54 at Junction 3. Turn right at the roundabout and take the A41 signed for Whitchurch.
**Follow the A41 to Whitchurch there taking the bypass and signs for Newcastle and Audlem A525. Proceed along the A525 for approx. 4 miles. DO NOT take the sign for Newcastle and Audlem on the right, but keep straight on towards Nantwich A530 as the entrance to Combermere is only 200m further on, on the left.
