General information for all cottages

All electricity, linen, towels and firewood are included in the rental.
All cottages have flat screen digital televisions (freeview), video and DVD players (we have a large video library in the visitor centre); CD Hi-Fi, hairdryers, books and games.
Well-equipped kitchens all have toasters, kettles, microwaves, dishwashers, irons, fridges and freezers.
There is outdoor furniture in each cottage garden area.
They all have either gas flame fires, wood fires or wood burning stoves as well as central heating to welcome you.
A welcome tray with home made biscuits greet your arrival and toiletries are in each bathroom.
A ‘Black Book’ directory of important information about the cottage and local places to eat, see and enjoy is in each cottage.
A central laundry room located in the courtyard has washers and dryers.
High chairs and cots are available at no charge; these must be booked in advance. Cot linen is NOT included.
Phones: All stable cottages have direct dial in and out telephones. Modems can be used. Please note: Mobile coverage is patchy at the Stables.
Stone Lodge has a pay-phone and good mobile coverage. Individual cottage numbers are provided on booking.
Wi-Fi and Broadband are available.
Bicycles, crocquet sets, tennis racquets and balls (for adults and children) available for use free of charge.
The Geometric Garden (first walled garden) has a tennis court, lovely quiet seating areas, a croquet lawn and barbecue, and is wonderfully protected and enclosed. (dogs are not permitted in this garden).
The Pleasure Garden and Garden Wood have lots of places to sit, picnic and barbecue (in the Willow Walk) with a children's play area and wendy house, called Briary Cottage. The wood leads to the Lake edge where you can enjoy the fabulous views and wildlife, and even catch a fish or two.
Dogs are welcome - please look at the Dog policy in the Dogs section. Wines and Spirits - We have a personal license. We offer a nice selection for wines and champagnes from our local award winning wine merchant. Check out the Food and Wine section!
Suppers and Hampers - a delicious seasonal selection of dishes from our award winning farm shop, Cheerbrook of Nantwich. All made on the premises. Our Breakfast hampers offer a range of delicious award winning local foods. Please check out Food and Wine section in 5 Star extras.
Combermere operates a NO SMOKING policy in all cottages for your comfort.
